The Tears of Meng Jiang Nu" is a great Chinese folktale related to the wall. The husband of the beautiful Meng was taken from her by the first emperor (Qin) to work on the wall. She trekked countless miles to find him. She finally succeeded, but he had just died. She began crying and her tears were so great that a storm raised up and destroyed several miles of the wall. Upon hearing what happened, the emperor traveled to met her. He was so struck by her beauty that he proposed to her and she reluctantly accepted. They attended her husband's funeral high on a mountainside and she finally stopped crying. Then, according to the tale, what happened?
